| You can find FREE full-text of articles from journals, newspapers, & magazines through the library's databases. Sometimes your professors will require that you use "scholarly" or "peer-reviewed" resources from academic journals--these are usually quite lengthy, include technical language, & are written by a professional in the field. Other times you may want to use "popular" resources like magazines & newspapers--these are written for a general audience so are usually a lot shorter, easier to read, & may include a lot of advertisements. Before getting started on your research, it's important to know what kind of resources your professor allows. |
