If English is not your native language, we can help! Cincinnati State offers placement testing for non-native speakers of English, and the individualized assistance you need to succeed. In addition, we have a variety of services for international students to help make Cincinnati State feel like home.

Our English as a Second Language (ESL) program helps non-native speakers of English improve their English proficiency through integrated skills courses including speaking, listening comprehension, reading, writing, and grammar. Some students may need to successfully complete ESL courses to continue with their degree program at Cincinnati State.
